| History | | The Fayette County Visitation Center opened its doors on June 20, 2002. The project had been in development for two years. The current director, Joy Stanforth, has been with the Visitation Center since its inception. In 2005 the Visitation Center received 50,000 from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation to increase the amount of services and hours the Center could operate.
