Community Action Commission of Fayette County has a contract through September 30, 2015 for transportation assistance to help people get to and from work. The contract provides transportation on CAC’s Transit System for persons living in TANF-eligible households. TANF eligibility includes having minor children in the household or a child support order, and a total household income of no more than 200% of federal poverty guidelines.
Transportation can be provided to persons who must go to/from work between 5:30 AM – 8:00 AM, and 4:30 PM – 11:00 PM Monday through Friday and all day Saturday. Transportation can also be provided to persons working in contiguous counties (Highland, Clinton, Pickaway, Greene, Madison and Ross). Employment related child care transportation is also available.
